TGCcurrentConfig GUI does:

  • show the 'current configuration's of each section
  • and allows changing the 'current configuration' of each section

A section is a configuration kind. Different sections are managed by different groups (CCI, DCS).
A current configuration is a name of a configuration of a section.
At run start, the configuration values of current configurations of different sections are downloaded to HW.

Selecting a current configuration C for a section S means:
       Starting from the next run, and until otherwise selected (by this GUI),
       the configuration values for section S will be those of the configuration named C.

Persistence: Current configurations persist, until a different selection is made.

Undoing: To undo a wrong selection of a current configuration,
       simply re-select a previous configuration.

Using the GUI:

  • Setting the environment: At Point1 (pc-atlas-cr-13): Source /det/muon/TGC/scripts/setupGlobal.sh
  • Running the GUI: TGCcurrentConfig figure: main panel
  • Changing a current configuration:
